# Authentication

> One API key per platform, sent as a bearer token.

* Keys are shown once when issued. Rubicourt stores only a hash.
* A key sees only its own platform's disputes and cases.
* A missing or wrong key returns `401` with code `unauthorized`.
* To rotate a key, email [hello@rubicourt.com](mailto:hello@rubicourt.com).
